I bought a Polo TSI from your dealership last week and took delivery on Saturday 18 November 2017. I can assure you that I did not make it easy on your team. I advised Ruan on Friday (17 November 2017) that I would like to collect my car the next day.
Working in the client service industry, you normally only hear the bad things and received correspondence regarding bad services received. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your exceptional team for the AWESOME AND EXCEPTIONAL services that I received from the very start!! I am so very impressed, and so excited to thank you as Management of the dealership in particular Ruan Smith and Nick Diamantopoulos for satisfying service that I received. As mentioned above, I indeed did not make it easy for them, but they delivered and did everything with a smile and was so very accommodating.
The other thing that really impressed me and I want to compliment you guys on this as well. When me and my Husband arrived there on Saturday morning, the all around friendliness of your staff was amazing. We really felt at home, which gave me the assurance that I indeed purchased my new wheels at the right branch!

I would just like to thank all who helped me out last week when my fan belt broke and had to be replaced. Their friendly attitude and helpfulness was exceptional.
 
My belt broke on Friday and I brought the car in on Saturday and unfortunately the workshop was too busy to attend to it right away. Khanita booked the car in and Yolanda lent me her car for the weekend. On Monday afternoon on the way to collect the car I got stuck in a traffic jam on the highway and reached the garage after closing so Andre organized for my car to be dropped off on Tuesday. Your driver was also very friendly when he delivered the car.

But I also know the satisfying feel I get when someone says thank you and they truly mean it.

As customers, we are so quick to complain yet when it comes to a well-deserved compliment we as customers/clients tend to just ‘forget’ Well I don’t forget and I need to bring to your attention the high level of service I have consistently received from Bianca. She is ALWAYS friendly. She is always willing to assist. I am probably a little demanding and tend to complain about little things – but nothing is too small or too big for Bianca to handle and sort out. I have been a client of her’s for some time now and I will NOT go to another service consultant (unless of course as a recruitment specialist I have a client who requires her skillset and I have to steal her away from you – no, I am just kidding – I can’t do that because then I have to start building a new relationship and I don’t take well to change - haha)
You have a true gem in Bianca and I am sure you realize this as well. Bianca for President !!!!!!
 
Having said all of this – I have to compliment the rest of the service consultants at VW Strijdom Park – they greet me by name and they ALWAYS Smile !!!!!!
I will NOT go to another dealership and I travel quite a distance to come to you for my services and I will come back when it is time for my next purchase.

I'm sending you this e-mail to tell you about the great service I experienced at VW Strijdom Park and specifically when dealing with Liani.
I know a lot of customers are probably quick to complain when they get a bad experience or when something is wrong but I think it is also important recognize great service.

I had recently been looking around to trade-in my Polo 2010 to the Polo TSI model and the service I from other VW dealerships was very disappointing.
The used car sales teams at other dealership were more concern about what my budget was and how I was going to finance my vehicle that I want to purchase before listening to me or evaluating my car.
They didn't even bother to even look at my car and gave me an estimation value by looking online or on a book and treated me as if I’m wasting their time.
They told me if they do a full evaluation it is a cost of R100 so I need to be sure if I want a evaluation.

Just when I thought all dealerships are same, after stopping by VW Strijdom Park I realizedis this is not the case. As soon as your Sales Executive Liani saw me she greeted me and listened to what I had to say.
On the first visit she had my test drive a vehicle I was in the market for and also had my car evaluated. I even came back the next day and to test drive the POLO Highline DSG and she arranged for it. The evaluation that I was given was fair and what I was looking for. Not near the poor evaluation quotes I got from some other dealerships without even looking at my car.

While going through the process of securing the deal, Liani also tried to accommodate me and did not have a don't care attitude or treated me as if I was wasting her time.
While the deal might not have been the most expensive deal you guys probably do, Liani treated me as an Individual and gave me her full attention when I spoke to her.
The service I got from VW Stijdom park from all departments like the reception, the person who evaluated my car, finance team, and specifically Liani was great.
This is the reason why I went ahead with the trade-in and will recommend VW strijdom Park to friends and family.

 I think you guys are also the only dealership that is open on public holidays which might be a slight inconvenience to the people who have to work,as I'm sure they would also like a break but to us consumers it makes it a lot easier to shop for a car. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.

Please may also pass this message on to the Dealer Principle as well, as VW Stijdom Park definitely provides a great service.

My car was towed to your dealership after having experienced bad service from VW Midrand. There was something wrong with the turbo and filter…I was angry, disappointed and inconvenienced as it was a new car.

My service advisor used to be Mary Anne and she went the extra mile and tirelessly kept me updated with the car as it was kept for 2 weeks and no loan car was provided. I was not happy, however the service I received from Mary Anne over-wrote my frustration.

I was sad to hear that Mary Anne is no longer with you guys, but was happy to work with Bianca…

Strijdom Park’s service is warm and friendly….from the security to the workshop gentlemen and tea lady. All your service advisors are amazing and I would like to commend you on your management of the dealership and how it is extended to your employees. I have had interactions with a few VW dealerships in Pretoria and in Johannesburg….Strijdom Park has been the best for me and I am glad to have chosen this dealership when I was in trouble. Ronald and the drivers….such happy people!

I would like to compliment Strijdom Park Volkswagen. I have just bought a new Volkswagen 2.0 TDI Golf Highline. I received brilliant service. Ruark Dickinson is absolutely brilliant and his knowledge on the cars is outstanding. I bought a 1.6 Polo from Ruark 4 years ago. When I was now looking for a car I have gone to 3 Volkswagen dealerships and also Mercedes as I was really interested in the A-class. After a 3 weeks of searching and test driving different cars really not feeling excited about buying a new car, I looked in my Polo manual and found Ruark number again. He immediately assisted and within an hour I had a quote and a test drive booked. When we arrived for the test drive on the Saturday, Ruark had everything ready and treated us in a Professional way. After the test drive Ruark has shared so much knowledge about the car and I was immediately sold on the car and felt really excited. We live a 100km away from JHB where Ruark is based and I decided on that day that I will buy from him although it is not close to me. He got me exactly the car I wanted with all the extras. He then handed us over to Elize de Kock that assisted us the rest of the way with the sale, all the documents and delivery of the car, which was a great experience. Nic in the finance department was also great and still assisted after hours to get all the finances sorted before I had to go on leave. When I had the car 3 days Elize phoned and asked if I am happy and if there is anything they can assist with. Even now after they already did the sale Elize is still arranging smash and grab etc. for the car. This is really outstanding!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. I can only praise Ruark and Elize for their excellent service. Also Nic and the rest of the finance team.

I will definitely contact Ruark again when I buy my next car.

MI am from Cape Town working in Lephalale at the Medupi Power Station and am using my car here as I will be based here for a few months. On the 1st of August 2014 I was driving with my 2014 VW Golf 7R from site back to my flat in Ellisras. I was not even doing 50 km/h when suddenly I thought I heard gunshots, but it was in fact my sunroof exploding/cracking/etc. In my panic state I phoned VW Customer Service Car and were very helpful. Took my car to your dealership where Andre and his team was very helpful to me.

After hearing that the new sunroof might take 15 workdays to arrive in SA, Andre phoned me to inform me that he had all the relevant parts. So I left my car there last Monday and picked it up on Saturday (they even provided a loan car for me). The car looks perfect for me, there might be a little bit of polish on some of the black fixings but I can remove that or it can be removed when I bring it in for its first service,

But in all I want to congratulate Andre on his team, especially Salona and the lady that helped me on Saturday on their professionalism, friendliest, and willingness to go out of their way to help me. You have a great team there and will definitely use you again and recommend you to other customers!

I do not think this experience will ever make me abondon VW as my number one brand, you have just given me more enough reasons to why I love this brand so much….. It only a month I have been here but this experience made me felt like I am so much closer to home.

Even though Tracey is only about to get her new car delivered a little later due to the setback with Tracker last night, I feel it of extreme importance to place on record our experience with VW Strijdom Park.

It all commenced on Saturday morning when we met with Marlon and by chance to discuss the possibility of a purchase of a Golf 7. He had one ready to go and one in stock but not quite what Tracey wanted but was OK ish with it. I do not want to bore you with the detail from then until yesterday since I am sure you are well aware of it BUT...if it weren’t for the wonderful, courteous, caring and determination of one Marlon van der Bijl, I probably would not be writing this note to you today.

The cherry on the cream was the fact that he realized and recognised that the white Trendline was not what would make Tracey happy. And so, without saying anything, between Saturday late morning when we left and Monday morning...his determination and desire to ensure the client would be a happy , a very happy one proved fruitful since low and behold he finds the very, but very car she has always dreamed of... a GOLF 7, Comfortline, color, specs, fittings...you name it.!!!! Marlon made it happen and we thank you whole heartedly. Sadly, Tracker’s installation was a disappointing setback for one and all especially Tracey, but we believe it will be all sorted out and to the FULL satisfaction and approval of VW.

So, from Tracey and I, Patrick, PLEASE be well aware of the wonderful person and asset you have in Marlon and please via your desk and perhaps better, still via the DP himself, let him know how we as customers feel...since it is the very least we can do for him. He is a good man and you can be rest assured that when next we need a VW (will probably me J or anyone else we know of) Marlon will be the one to talk to and work with and hopefully at VW Strijdom Park.
